
World TB Day was celebrated on 24th March this year. To mark this occasion Malteser International officially handed over the laboratory at Dandora Health Clinic to the Kenyan Government.
An initiative of the Order of Malta, Republic of Kenya, iCare for Africa was established to showcase the captivating indigenous arts and crafts created by local Kenyans, and to generate an income for them as well as the projects, most of which are run in Nairobi’s most needy communities. Proceeds from sales of the various products featured on this website are ploughed back into these local communities to uplift them, improve their quality of life, and give their children a better future.
The Order of Malta has associations in countries across the world. The British Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is known as BASMOM.
